Scholarship Fund
Contribute directly to making self-directed education accessible to all. Donations to this fund go towards offsetting tuition costs for students on our Scholarship Waitlist.
Co-op Fund
Our cooperatives are groups organized around a shared interest. They have the power to operate large areas of the school– and spend school funds. Whether it’s bikes for the Bicycle Co-op, train tickets for the Travel Co-op, or books for the Library Co-op, your donation can help make their plans a reality.
General Fund
We’re engaged with the community in a variety of ways. Help us reach out, spread the word about SBF and self-directed education, and create a robust and lasting community here in Santa Barbara County.

Calling all outdoor enthusiasts, musicians, techies, artists, entrepreneurs, filmmakers, woodworkers… everyone with a passion to share. You can contribute your expertise, time, gear, or connections to enrich the lives of students who may one day follow in your footsteps.
